I am a South African filmmaker who finished studying for Honours at The Open Window Institute.

I specialise in directing, screenwriting, editing, and acting. However, my skills do not end there. I have been freelancing and working within the film industry for four years.

This website illustrates my skills and the work I have done thus far.

Awards & Accolades

Arné Boshoff was thrilled to win the best South African Student Film award. His film, The Inescapable, debuted at the Jozi Film Festival 2021 and was the first Student Film to receive a physical screening slot.

Jozi Film Festival Winners 2021

One of Open Window's lecturers submitted Arné's honours film to the Loeries 2021, where it won several awards and certificates, including a Silver Loerie for the Student short film category and a gold craft Loerie for cinematography. The film also won two craft certificates for the screenplay and score.

Arné Boshoff was surprised to win the award for best acting in his Student film, "The Inescapable." Arné never studied acting, this award proves his dedication and knowledge of the craft.

ABOUT ARNÉ BOSHOFF

From a young age, I have always had a burning passion for telling new, creative, and captivating stories. I studied Film, Television, and Screenwriting at the prestigious Open Window Institute for four years. I finished my Bachelor's degree in 2020 and my honours degree in 2021.

My career goal is to be a driving force for South Africa's developing film industry. I am a hard worker and a good team player. I will always offer creative solutions for problems and work to the best of my abilities to produce work I am proud of.
